HYDROTHERAPY FOR ALL
Here at THP we have lots of equipment such as wheelchairs, shower chairs, hoists and water therapy aids available to make your visit more comfortable.
We are proud to have one of the largest hoist systems in the South of England, which can take users to showers, toilets and directly into the pool.
We also have specially equipped changing rooms with hydraulic changing tables for males and females plus a private family changing area and large shower areas.
After your session feel free to stay and have a friendly chat and a cup of coffee in our comfortable lounge area.

THE POOL AND JACUZZI
Our pool measures 13.5 meters by 6 meters and 0.8 to 1.5 meters in depth.
Warm water is the prime essential requirement for hydrotherapy treatment and is maintained at 33-34 degrees with the air temperature balanced to match.
The Jacuzzi water is 37-38, and is fully accessible with a static hoist and a ceiling mounted sling system.
All of the pools facilities are on one level with automatic entry doors allowing easy access for wheelchair users.
The interior is especially designed for people with special needs in mind and has non-slip tiling and handrails throughout.
A sunken walkway along two sides of the pool allows easy access for training and safety.
